Board of Trade Announces 2025 Business Excellence and ASPIRE Awards’ Recipients

Markham, November 27, 2025/ — Markham Board of Trade (MBT) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 35th Annual Business Excellence Awards, the 13th Annual ASPIRE Awards and the Anthony Roman Award.  

The 2025 Business Excellence Awards were presented to:

The Donald Cousens Conservation & Environmental Leadership Award: Macrotek Inc.

Global Business Excellence: Novo Plastics Inc.

High Quality and Service: Disano Sprinkler Design Limited

Innovation: NordSpace Corporation

Women Led Business: Milla Yurman, SYC CPA Professional Corporation

Markham Destination Ambassador Award: Go Place

The Anthony Roman Award, which honours an individual who is both a community leader and a successful business person, was presented to Khalid Usman.

“Congratulations to the 2025 award recipients, finalists, and nominees. And a huge thank you to our generous event sponsors for their continued support,” stated Markham Board of Trade President & CEO Chris Collucci. “I’d also like to acknowledge the award’s selection committee for their diligence in reviewing and determining the 2025 recipients.”

The Board of Trade ASPIRE Awards recognize business leaders and young professionals under the age of 40. The 2025 recipients are:
