With over 40+ events per year to include our monthly Breakfast and After-Hours Networking events to our Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala and Golf Day events, the Markham Board of Trade provides a number of opportunities to meet-and-greet with other like-minded business owners and their teams, to help you build and strengthen your business network.

Preferred Savings & Discounts

Markham Board of Trade members gain access to preferred savings and discount programs and services that they need most to keep their businesses running. Our programs include group health and dental insurance, merchant processing services, home and auto insurance, savings on shipping and office supplies and much, much more!

Marketing & Promotion

We offer a wide variety of options to help you to promote your business, such as advertising opportunities in the Markham VOICE, Markham’s Exclusive Business Magazine (circulation of 12,000 three times per year); our Annual Buyer’s Guide (circulation of 18,000); our ECO-Flyer e-newsletter, which is sent out monthly to our entire membership; as well as events such as our Annual Trade Show, the York Region Colossal Chamber Networking Event, and our bi-annually Women’s Networking Luncheon. Markham Board of Trade can help you to reach your marketing goals.


When appropriate issues arise; the Markham Board of Trade advocates on behalf of its membership, in support of Markham businesses. The Government Affairs Committee meets with representative from all levels of government to foster a favorable environment for the development of all Markham businesses, as well as keeping members and the Board advised of legislative proposals and actions.
